During the interview I asked him some questions and number ten will blow your mind.

QUESTION: When was the first time you ever discovered your talent as a comedian?

DON ANDRE: Well personally I had no idea stand –up comedy existed and comedy as a whole, I always just knew I should make people laugh and life goes on. Until my mum and friends started suggesting I should try out comedy.

QUESTION: Who was the first person you told about your passion for comedy and what was their reaction?

DON ANDRE: Honestly I was scared to tell anyone, am a very low key person, I knew If I expressed my passion to anyone they would discourage me. So I went in first and started it and then I told my friends about it.

QUESTION: what was your family’s reaction when you told them about pursuing comedy as a career?

DON ANDRE: I didn’t tell them myself, they found out from a family friend who had watched a video clip of mine and showed them .All I used to do was ask them for transport and say there’s something I am chasing in town. But since then they have been so supportive 100%

QUESTION: What challenges did you face as a newbie in the Ugandan   industry and how did you overcome them?

DON ANDRE: As a newbie no one believes in you yet deep down you know you are Africa’s best hahahaa. It’s a big challenge because you need people to believe in you before you step on a platform.

QUESTION: How long does it take for you to get prepared enough to hit the stage and perform?

DON ANDRE: Stand-up comedy needs a lot preparation because you are going on stage to impress hundreds of stressed strangers from work who paid to be happy haahaa.so you need to be having a well rehearsed set to impress and it’s for your own good as a comedian. Because you wouldn’t want to go and deliver shaky jokes.

QUESTION:  Which foreign country did you first perform in?

DON ANDRE: It was Kenya, not so foreign though its next door but it counts lol.

QUESTION: Do you ever get stage fright?

DON ANDRE: Oh yes! I get frightened all the time before going onstage however small it is. The nerves keep running because you know it’s time to work.

QUESTION: Have you ever experienced something so bad in your career that almost made you give up and walk away?

DON ANDRE: I have had pretty bad experiences but none of them are enough for me to quit stand-up comedy. May be if I can’t talk any more haahaaha. I could still use facial expressions even then lol.

QUESTION: If you ever had your own comedy show what would you call it?

DON ANDRE: That’s a hard one... I would give it a cheesy name let’s say Giggles comedy club

QUESTION: What was your reaction when you first met Ann Kansiime?

DON ANDRE: When I 1st met Ann Kansiime I was like damn!! Am tall!! Haahaahaa

QUESTION: Which international comedian would you love to perform alongside with?

DON ANDRE: Trevor Noah, Eddie Murphy hoping he won’t be busy with coming to America 3.

QUESTION: What reaction do you get the most from people when you perform?

DON ANDRE: laughter!!! That’s definitely the 1st and most important then mixed with feelings on faces translated (this guy is stupid). And I leave the ladies smiling wishing to take me home hahaha’

QUESTION: Who inspires you the most in the Ugandan comedy industry?

DON ANDRE: Daniel Omara, he’s so smart, witty and crazy at the same time, judging from his material.

QUESTION: Which year did you start doing comedy professionally?

DON ANDRE: 2016 is the year I started

QUESTION: What is that misconception most people have about you?

DON ANDRE: They say I’m very wealthy and a show off, yet I’m just rich.

QUESTION: When did you receive your first break through in comedy?

DON ANDRE: I guess it was from the first time I stepped on stage to perform that got me noticed and it’s going on I’m still on the way for what I will call the big break through because it gets bigger each day.

QUESTION: What is that one crazy thing your fan has ever said to you?

DON ANDRE: Hahaha someone told me when you performed my friends and I laughed and even ran outside and I was the first performer that night.

QUESTION: How do you deal with social media bullies and negativity?

DON ANDRE: If you want to bully me do it live because social media is full of cowards hiding behind the keyboards and I always use memes to reply them .About negativity I always pray about it and I thank God because he created me to be A very positive person even when I don’t see hope

QUESTION: Is there anything you would love to talk about that I have not asked?

DON ANDRE: I am a very good Dad and husband my children and wife better be ready.
